# PDF toolbar icon not shown in IBM Notes 9 toolbar

With the release of IBM Notes 9, the toolbar which also contains the PDF Converter's smart icon is by default hidden in the read mode. 

To show the SWING PDF Converter toolbar icon, select "View" in the Lotus Notes 9 Workspace and unmark the "Show Toolbars Only When Editing" option.
