# Conversion profile / general settings extraction \[for Administrators]

To extract customized conversion profiles or the general settings XML document from SWING Porter follow these steps:

1\. In MS Outlook, select the **SWING PORTER** ribbon and click **Settings:**

2\. In the **Settings** window, create a **New** conversion profile or **Edit** an existing one:

3\. When done, press **OK** to close both windows. This action will force SWING Porter to extract custom conversion profiles and general settings to hard drive.

The conversion profiles and general settings are now extracted in:

`C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\SWING Software\SWING Porter for Outlook\Settings`

4\. Copy the conversion profile and the general settings XML files to a desired location.
