# Exporting large sets of documents/emails using the toolbar icon

When exporting large sets of documents (for example more than 1000) it is recommended that you do not perform this action by selecting all the documents in your view (e.g. by hitting Ctrl+A in the All Documents view) since Notes can't handle that many documents. 

Instead, it is recommended to select the All documents option in our dialog during the first conversion step or alternatively select all the categories/folders available in your view (using the same dialog).
